Boy & Bear’s largest tour to date is selling out around the country, with shows in Adelaide, Brisbane and two performances in Melbourne all now SOLD OUT. Those who want to catch the band off the back of their ARIA Award-winning album “Moonfire” better move quickly! Minimal tickets are now left for regionals Albany and Albury and Sydney is teetering on the very edge, with only a handful of tickets left. The second over 18s show in Melbourne is also moving fast, with tickets expected to be SOLD OUT in the coming days.
Boy & Bear are pleased to announce that they will be adding a show to their run in Western Australia, with Mandurah Performing Arts Centre set to play host on Sunday 13th May. The band have also recently been announced on Darwin’s Bass In The Grass festival, where they will make their debut Northern Territory performance and expand the tour into one more territory.
Boy & Bear’s Remember The Mexican National Tour has also gone from big to huge with The Jungle Giants and Tin Sparrow now throwing their hat in the ring. The Jungle Giants have been the darlings of triple j since their single ‘Mr Polite’ inundated their airwaves last year. The single comes from their self-titled EP, which has been causing a bit of a stir itself, landing them tours with Ball Park Music, Andy Bull and a SOLD OUT co-headline tour with San Cisco across the country. Lead singer and writer Sam Hales’ talent has not gone unnoticed, with the Queensland Music Awards handing him with the Billy Thorpe Scholarship late last year. It has enabled Sam and the band to put some more time into what their good at: writing killer tunes. They will be looking to the Boy & Bear tour to display exactly what has been in the works behind the scenes, on stage.
Tin Sparrow will be opening what is to be an evening of incredible tunes. After being named ‘Unsigned Artist of The Week’ on Sydney’s FBI, their new single ‘Azzuro’ has already earned its worth in spins, receiving much attention from community radio across the nation and also getting the nod of approval from triple j. In fact, it’s hard to ignore the endorsement received with triple j big wigs Nina Las Vegas, Dom Alessio, Sarah Howells and Richard Kingsmill all giving it props on the band’s triple j unearthed page – some with four stars to top it off. They will hit the ground running onto the Remember The Mexican tour with their EP set for release in April along with their own headline tour along the East Coast, just before hitting the road with Boy & Bear.
Boy & Bear’s Remembering The Mexican National Tour is on sale now. Their album “Moonfire” is out now via UMA.
